This month, I rested a lot. I didn’t watch as many movies/tv shows but I felt a renewed energy for reading.
TV Series
Insecure: 4/5 I rewatched all of Insecure. Man, does it feel good when it gets to the end. It is so funny and full of love and friendship. The music is A+ and Issa seriously glows up.
Movies
Crazy, Stupid Love 2.5/5 This movie closed out my post-Barbie Ryan Gosling movie marathon. This movie was pretty cheesy and boring in an oblivious way. Also the lighting was like, starkly white? Maybe I need to get my tv checked.
Bridesmaids - 4/5 I’ve been enjoying revisiting old favorites lately. This is one of them. I honestly forgot all of this movie but I love Kristen Wiig. I feel like her smirky smile has so many emotions - it’s both sassy and somber in a way. Also, Rose Byrne’s character made me lol. She’s hilarious in this.
